How Does StainSmart Work?

How does StainSmart work?StainSmart is a layered technology:

  1. The stain repellent is applied on the outside of the fabric to allow most water- and oil-based stains to roll off.
  2. The release is applied within to prevent ground-in oil-based stains from remaining in the fabric.
  3. During laundering, the release component pulls water and detergent through the fabric to wash out the stain
    • StainSmart allows liquid and food-based spills to bead up and be wiped right off.
    • StainSmart allows oil-based stains to be easily released in the wash cycle.

What About the StainSmart Fabric?

  • StainSmart is the only fabric technology proven to work on a wide variety fabrics for a broad range of uses, including apparel, hospitality, healthcare, military, and automotive.
  • StainSmart is available through custom development, or can be used on the company's ready-made fabrics.
