CHARACTERISTICS:

• Lustrous
• Strong in relation to its diameter
• Good insulation quality

MAJOR END USES:

• Apparel - sweaters, socks, accessories, shawls, coats, and suits
• Home Fashions - Blankets, throws

Comments - Vicuna is the world´s most valuable fiber. Consequently, items containing vicuna are very expensive. Generally, the camel fibers are used only in their natural colors, because of resistance to dyes. Dry cleaning is recommended for all of the Camel Family of fibers.
