Q What are the current trends in Home Furnishings products with regard to fibers, fabrics, constructions, colors, etc.?
A The Home textile market continues to seek originality in products through colour, texture, surface interest or fiber input. Fabrics employing textural interests are in high demand. There is also a growing trend towards fabrics that use environmentally friendly inputs, such as recycled polyester or organic cotton yarns. As for colour, home furnishings still tends to follow the apparel trends. Black and white stories for impact. Yellow (gold tones including metallics) with reds, translating to ambers and cinnabar warm tones for the home. Blues are also trendy providing a calming atmosphere. From spa-like blues to blue/green and turquoise tones.
